Max Henrion, PhD, is CEO and Founder of Lumina Decision Systems. He has experience as professor, decision analyst, software designer, and entrepreneur. He is the originator of Analytica, Lumina’s flagship software. He has been a Professor at Carnegie Mellon and Stanford. He has published 3 books (including "Uncertainty: A guide to treating uncertainty in risk and policy analysis" Cambridge UP) and over 70 articles in risk and decision analysis, energy and environment, and AI. He has a BA from Cambridge and PhD from Carnegie Mellon. His project on “Rigs to Reefs” won the 2014 Decision Analysis Practice Award. He received the 2018 Frank Ramsey Medal for lifetime contributions to the theory and practice of decision analysis.
