Business Continuity: 40 Years of Valuing Output over Outcome

There are solutions to the problems associated with business continuity but they will require undoing decades of work to establish an unproven methodology that has now become entrenched. More challenging will be the effort to undo a perception of business continuity that is intrinsically tied to that methodology and which is now mandated by official standards and regulations. We need to write a new story that is based on facts. And the sooner we start the better we will all be for it.
